Argentine striker allays fears after suffering knee injury in Manchester City's win against Crystal Palace

Sergio Aguero has handed Manchester City a boost ahead of their clash with Juventus, revealing his knee injury is not as serious as first feared.

The Argentine was substituted after 25 minutes of the 1-0 win against Crystal Palace and was later spotted hobbling out of Selhurst Park.

But he indicated that he will be available for the start of City’s Champions League campaign.

He Tweeted: “Thanks everyone for your concern. I got a hard hit and it prevented me from playing more.

“It doesn’t seem to be a serious injury though.”
